Crawford to Undergo Surgery Thursday

Carl Crawford, Boston's "Top" Free Agent acquisition of the 2010 off season is set to undergo Tommy John Surgery on Thursday. A surgery that replaces a torn Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) with a Tendon and that has a 9 - 12 Month recovery time basically tells Boston Fans that the season is over and better luck next year. Will Middlebrooks is done for the rest of the Season with a broken wrist, David Ortiz was supposed to come back but is still M.I.A. in the Boston Lineup (Still on the DL,) Ryan Sweeney is out for the 2012 Season with a "Left Hand" Injury after punching something after getting thrown out on a ground ball play. John Lackey and Dice-K are still in the Minors trying to Rehab, and the list goes on. As a Red Sox fan myself, it seems that the Red Sox are done and are hopefully going to come back strong next year.

  1. 3 years with no Red Sox in playoffs! Yikes for them. Good for the rest
